Scott Winfield Kennedy 7/4/1970 - 9/28/2020

Our dear heart Scott Winfield Kennedy (DJ Flash), Father, Brother, Son, Uncle, Best Friend, Shasta Gathering Mayor Maynot, passed suddenly on September 28, 2020. Scott was born July 4, 1970 in Goleta, California and attended Sacramento area schools Lichen Elementary, Deterding Elementary, Howe Avenue Middle School, Mesa Verde High School (Class of 1988), American River College and University of Hawaii, Maui. He was an awarded veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1990-1995. Scott held positions in many fields over the years, but most notably as Apple computer technician, graphic designer, and superstar house music deejay in the greater Sacramento/Bay Area. His interests were history, art, writing, literature, film, acting, music, philosophy, archaeology, and nerd culture. He was a drama star at Mesa Verde, and once put on a one man play. Scott had recently embarked on a solo journey to seek out his next big adventure, and had arrived in a small town in Nevada where he felt he could land. He was exploring the museums and a culture he found interesting, when we got notice he had passed in his sleep. Scott, a loving father, is survived by his son, Elliot Wilson Kennedy, former spouse and best friend, Kaera Anzalone, parents Ronald and Barbara (Battle) Kennedy, sisters Susie (Kennedy) Nemer and family, and Sherri (Kennedy) Anderson and family, and many friends. We know he is at peace and would want you all to know he was grateful for the special moments he shared with all he touched, and lives forever in our hearts. He was loved unconditionally and totally and will always be, One Love. "Roger That! Kennedy Out."
