Cheer camp honors put squad in good spirits

Congratulations go out to Lincoln High School Cheer on its recent accomplishments at UCA Cheer Camp at University of California at Davis.Lincoln High School Cheer took first place for leadership and second place with its home routine. Varsity Cheerleader Megan Helms choreographed the routine.Individually, Varsity received a spirit stick, took first place for Camp Champs and placed second for their performance on the elite extreme routine performance. Varsity also placed superior overall and received the opportunity to cheer with UCA on Jan. 1 in Orlando, Fla. at the college football Capital One Bowl.Individually, Junior Varsity received a spirit stick, took first place on its performance on the elite extreme routine performance, first place on camp champs and second place for most improved. Junior Varsity also placed superior overall and received the opportunity to also cheer with UCA in Orlando, Fla. on Jan. 1.Freshman Head Coach Jennifer Rainwater is in charge of Freshman Squad members Ashley Dominici, Ashlee Van Vleit, Kristina Connell, Sarah Morris, Cheyenne Nakatani, Angelica Cardenas, Miranda Shelgren, Alencia Taylor, Bridget Tozer, Courtney Johnston, Amber Freise, Veronica Keeling, Marian Baker, Kory Kessinger, Selena Perfino and Ciera Wilson.Individually, Freshman received a spirit stick and took first place on its performance of the extreme routine.
