Robert Hoge

Robert Edward Hoge died July 5, 2003, in Roseville. He was 75. Born April 17, 1928, in Wisconsin, He married Nancy Gore on June 25, 1955 in Elko, Nev. He worked in the oil refinery business for over 40 years. He and his wife were a residents of Benicia and Nevada City before moving to Auburn in 2002. A member of Sierra Presbyterian Church in Nevada City and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, his hobbies were woodworking and mechanics.He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Auburn; sons, E. William Hoge of Orangevale, Charles Hoge of Fresno, and Robert Hoge of Sacramento; daughter, Robin Moyer of Sacramento; and 10 grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 3, 2003 at Sierra Presbyterian Church, Nevada City.Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
