Knudson and Cochran to wed

Kristin Knudson and Joseph Cochran became engaged while on vacation on Maui. Kristi has lived in the Auburn area for 25 years and Joseph has lived in Grass Valley for 9 years. The two plan to marry later this summer.Kristin is a hair stylist and has been in the business for 17 years. She owns and operates Pizazz Salon in Auburn. Kristin has always loved fashion and working with others. Pizazz regularly contributes to the local community by providing free services for various outreach programs. Kristin has a son Zackary, who is a sophomore at Foresthill High School.The future bride is the daughter of Charles and Nancy Brown of Meadow Vista.Joseph graduated from Piedmont High School in 1988 and then from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1994.As a graduate from the school of engineering, he has been a leader in inventing and commercializing recycling technologies. MBA Polymers, Mobius Technologies, and Golden Bear Ceramics are companies he helped to develop.Joseph is currently the vice president of Mobius Technologies and also the Senior R&D manager for The Hub Lab.The groom-to-be is the son of Richard and Susan Cochran of Piedmont.
