Crime in the Folsom community

March 21 Dustin Boyd, 35, of Antelope, and Peter Johnson, 34, of Roseville, were arrested at 4:35 p.m. on the 2600 block of E. Bidwell Street. Boyd was arrested for shoplifting, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of burglary tools. Johnson was arrested for shoplifting, possession of illegal drugs with the intent to sell, violating probation, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of burglary tools. Tyler Smith, 38, of Fair Oaks, and Valentin Gonzales, 37, of Sacramento, were arrested at 5:40 p.m. on Scott Street and Riley Street. Smith was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, obliteration of identification marks on a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in public and brandishing a firearm. Gonzales was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, obliteration of identification marks on a firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public. Two unknown male suspects were seen breaking a vehicle's window at 7:45 p.m. on the 1000 block of E. Bidwell Street. Stolen items were dropped on the ground as the suspects fled the scene. March 23 Elizabeth Ponzer, 54, of Folsom, was arrested for obstructing a public business establishment at 12:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Iron Point Road. Manikandan Shandmugasundaram, 35, of Folsom, was arrested for driving under the influence at 1 a.m. on Riley Street and Wales Drive. An unknown Hispanic male adult suspect and an unknown white male adult suspect stole a demagnetizer from a store at 8:50 a.m. on the 1000 block of E. Bidwell Street. An unknown suspect fraudulently sold items on eBay at 9:45 a.m. on the 1900 block of Horseshoe Glen Circle. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole an EBT processing machine at 9:50 a.m. on the 900 block of Leidesdorff Street. An unknown suspect smashed a vehicle's window and stole a bag containing clothing and blankets at 10:10 a.m. on the 600 block of Willard Drive. An unknown suspect pried open a mailbox at 3:20 p.m. on Northolt Circle and Tetworth Way. It's unknown if any mail was stolen. USPS was notified. Jordan Austin was arrested for burglary, tampering with a vehicle, receiving stolen property and child endangerment at 3:35 p.m. on the 600 block of Oreno Court. Three unknown black female adult suspects stole approximately $5000 worth of clothing from a store at 4 p.m. on the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard. Three unknown black female adult suspects stole approximately $700 worth of clothing from a store at 4:05 p.m. on the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard. An unknown suspect stole a wallet and fraudulently used credit cards at 4:15 p.m. on the 1800 block of Prairie City Road. Christina Russell, 23, of El Dorado County, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication at 5:45 p.m. on the 1600 block of Creekside Drive. March 24 An unknown suspect punched out a vehicle's lock and stole miscellaneous items from inside at 12:05 a.m. on the 2700 block of E. Bidwell Street. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole an airbag at 12:20 a.m. on the 2700 block of E. Bidwell Street. An unknown suspect punched out a vehicle's lock and stole airbags at 12:40 p.m. on the 500 block of Heiler Way. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a bag of camera equipment at 2:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of Iron Point Road. Joseph Rendon, 31, of Folsom, was arrested for public intoxication at 4 p.m. on E. Bidwell Street and Montrose Drive. Jeremy Cisneros, 24, of Citrus Heights, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol at 10:15 p.m. on Iron Point Road and Prairie City Road. March 25 An unknown suspect pried open an exterior door and kicked in an interior door of a commercial business at 2:20 p.m. on the 1200 block of Creekside Drive. Nothing was stolen. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole baseball gloves, jumper cables and attempted to steal an airbag at 7:25 p.m. on the 9500 block of Oak Avenue Parkway. Ashley Valdez, 24, of Latrobe, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, bringing contraband into jail, possession of a controlled substance in jail, providing false identification to a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and violating probation at 11:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of Prairie City Road.
