Timothy Allen Bender

Timothy Allen Bender, 52, passed away on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Timothy passed peacefully, in the company of family. Tim, a devoted family man and owner of Bender Construction, was born in Eureka, CA on June 7, 1967. He married his wife, Sherrie, in 1987 and together they raised three children, Steffanie, Amanda and Tyler. Tim, "aka Rambo," began his highly successful career in the construction industry as an electrician at Angelo Electric, ultimately leading his own company, Bender Construction in Rocklin, CA. Many remember him for his tough, determined, and humorous nature, both at home and on the job. Determined and opinionated, giving up was never an option for Tim. Later in life Tim and Sherrie were blessed with seven grandchildren, Jovi, Gibson, Seth, Berton, Maverick, Ridley, and Emilia. Tim, aka "Papi," spent countless hours playing with his grandchildren. Together they constructed models, flew toy airplanes, assembled rockets, built legos, colored pictures and played cross-word puzzle games. The solemn protector of his family, he was also a loving and playful husband, father and grandfather. Tim is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, as well as his brothers, Christopher and Shawn Bender, and his parents, James and Virginia Bender. Services will be private for family and close friends.
