Mary Frances Taylor 6/27/1925 - 1/2/2020

Mary Frances Taylor died peacefully at home on January 2, 2020, at the age of 94. Mary is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Jackson, of Anchorage, AK; her children: Harry Taylor Jr. (Sandy), Susan Zimmerman, Elizabeth Houk ("Doc"), and Robert Taylor (Linda); six grandchildren, Mark, Jerry (Stefanie), Darrell, Steven, Mary, Matthew (Sara); and five great grandchildren: Darrick, Camryn, Kaelie, Zachary, James, and Noah. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Taylor Sr., who passed on December 16, 2016. Harry is survived by his sister, Leona Fiske, of Canaan, NH. Mary and Harry were married in Enfield, NH on September 1, 1947, and spent more than 69 years together. They moved to California in 1958 and lived in San Jose, Saratoga and Meadow Vista. Mary was an active and dedicated member of the Catholic church no matter where she resided. She taught CCD, attended bible study groups, and served as a Eucharistic Minister until her health interfered. The family would like to thank Sheryl McAdams, Caregiver to both Mary and Harry, and George and Barbara Coelho, Eucharistic Ministers, who brought the Eucharistic to Mary and Harry for more than 5 years.Always together, a Funeral Mass for Mary and Harry is scheduled for 10:00 am, March 28th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn, Ca, officiated by Fr. Carlo Tejano. A Rosary will precede mass at 9:15 am. Memorial reception to follow at the Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary and Harry's lives. Mary and Harry will be interned in the National Cemetery in Dixon, CA on Monday, March 30th.
