Rocklin Unified showcased in PBIS video

Only California district in the running for national award Rocklin Unified School District students, staff and schools are in the running to receive a national award for a video produced about Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). More than 90 videos from school districts across the country were submitted. The Rocklin Unified School District video was the only Californian presentation to make it to the finals in the "Best School Engagement Film of the Year" category. Many Rocklin Unified School District schools successfully engage in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and the video features the pilot school's success, Rocklin Elementary, with the program. The school partnered with the Placer County Office of Education and the California PBIS Coalition to tell their story. Rocklin Unified School District officials thank the California Department of Education for its expertise in the project and to the Studio Movie Grill for funding the video presentation.
