Placer County Sheriff's arrest log: Theft from gift shop, shot fired in parking lot at Thunder Valley

Sept. 25 Mario Clayton, 32, of Sacramento was cited on suspicion of petty theft at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln. The suspect is alleged to have stolen items worth $165 from the casino gift shop. Sept. 26 An 80-year-old Loomis resident reported a theft in the 4000 block of Ridge Drive. An unknown individual obtained her credit card information and made fraudulent purchases from Amazon. A total loss was not reported. Sept. 28 A 58-year-old Newcastle resident reported her identity was stolen after $2,485 was transferred from her Venmo account to an unknown bank account. The discharge of a firearm was reported at Thunder Valley Casino. An unknown individual is reported to have discharged a firearm on the third floor of the parking garage, striking two parked vehicles. Sept. 30 John Hamner, 30, of North Highlands was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, obliteration of a firearm identification number, possession of a false compartment, possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia possession. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Fiddyment Road and Pleasant Grove Boulevard area of Roseville. Misty Lynn Romayor, 30, of Sacramento and Asif Ali Akhtar, 34, of Sacramento were arrested on suspicion of identity theft of 10-plus victims, identity theft and unlawful possession of suspected meth. The arrests followed a traffic stop in the Athens Avenue and Thunder Valley Court area of Lincoln. Russell Meriadoc Young, a 45-year-old Auburn transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth for sale, transportation of meth for sale, violation of probation, driving on a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Bell Road and Quartz Drive area of Auburn for expired registration. A theft was reported at KFC in the 2400 block of Grass Valley Highway in Auburn. A mountain bike, worth $800, was stolen from outside of the restaurant. Oct. 1 George Tim Simkovich, 66, of Foresthill was cited on suspicion of possession of an open alcohol container while driving and possession of a blow dart gun. The citation followed a traffic stop in the Interstate 80 and Penryn Road area of Penryn. Oct. 2 Jerrick Raysablad Garlit, 26, of Roseville was arrested on suspicion of meth possession and probation violation. The arrest followed a call for service at Beach Hut Deli in the 13400 block of Bowman Road in Auburn. Mason Allen Eller, 29, of Newcastle was cited on suspicion of heroin possession in the 9900 block of Green Hill Court in Newcastle. Oct. 3 Nicholas Steven Cornwell, a 39-year-old transient, was arrested in the Second Street and E Avenue area of Auburn on suspicion of brandishing a weapon and violation of probation. The suspect is alleged to have pointed a BB gun in the face of another transient. Paul Michael Kreuzer II, 35, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of meth possession in the 7000 block of Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay. Fernando Garcia, 32, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs in the Athens Avenue and Fiddyment Road area of Lincoln. Clayton Efton Speake Jr., 58, of Visalia was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The arrest followed a report of a suspicious person in the Canyon Creek Road area of Dutch Flat.
