Meet the new Placer County Sheriff's deputy: Robyn Rosenfeld

Name: Robyn Rosenfeld Age: 23 City of residence: Rocklin Family: No children, just two fur babies – two German shepherds Why did you want to join the Placer County Sheriff team? I grew up in Rocklin and started trying to work in my community as much as possible and help people however I could. I always have wanted to be in law enforcement, and growing up in Placer County, the best way for me to give back to the community that helped raise me was to work here and serve my community through the Sheriff's office. What do you like most about your job? I love that each day is different and I always have an opportunity to keep learning something new. What do you hope to accomplish as a deputy? What are your top priorities? My aspirations are to eventually go into the Crimes Against Persons Unit and also join the dive team. What advice would you give to those who may be considering a job in law enforcement? Expose yourself to as many departments as you can and find the one that is the best fit for you. I was extremely lucky that my best fit was the Sheriff's office I was raised around. Where would you like to see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully in 10 years I will be a detective working in Crimes Against Persons.
