Rocklin man killed in hit and run

On Feb. 4, the Rocklin Police Department discovered the body of 30-year-old Trevor Swahn of Rocklin on Sierra College Boulevard near Scriber Way, according to the Rocklin Police Department. According to Rocklin Police Sgt. Eric Dollar, Swahn was between the bike lane and the far right lane along Sierra College Boulevard and appeared to have suffered a major head wound. A 9-1-1 call was made by drivers who saw Swahn's body on the road but no witnesses to the accident have come forward yet, according to police. Based on the time the call was made and how Swahn looked physically, Dollar said that Swahn was hit between 10:40 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 4. So far, there are no leads on a vehicle or driver description and anyone with tips about the accident should call Dollar at 916-625-5490 or the Rocklin Police Department Investigations Unit at 916-625-5400. Dollar said that there was "a decent amount of people on the street" for someone to have witnessed the accident but perhaps not realize what they saw.
