Badir (Bud) Mousa Mousa 1952 - 2021 We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved Badir Mousa Mousa (Bud) has left us to join his maker on January 20th, 2021. He died too young, of a heart attack, Badir was a beautiful example of what could be achieved in this country with elbow grease, common sense, and ambition. He earned a BS in industrial design at San Jose State. An award winning career earning several patents for industrial design at Hewlett-Packard, teaching at San Jose State, and selling real estate was never an excuse for him to not spend time with his family. He gave his family and loved ones every experience and opportunity that he could, often sacrificing his own comfort for the success and happiness of others. He taught his children everything he knew. He was often happiest teaching his grandson Demir his various talents. He was an ardent lover of his birthplace and homeland, Ramallah, Palestine. He spent his life donating money back home to help Palestinians. He worked hard and played hard, living life to the fullest each day. One of his proudest achievements was taking his family, including his beloved mother, Azizeh, to Palestine, Egypt, Jordan, France and Italy. He was creative. He was authentic. He was a true original. He loved traveling, woodworking and has made beautiful works of art, always for a special someone in mind. He has left behind a legacy of priceless original heirlooms. He is survived by his partner, Kathleen (Kat) Mitchell; his former wife Arij Mousa and their three children Shaden, Shareef, Shadee Mousa; his daughter-in-law and grandson Burcu and Demir Mousa; his brothers and their families Jamil Mousa, Isam Mousa, Adham Mousa and Carroll Prendergast, Michael and Diana Mousa. He is predeceased by his parents Mousa and Azizeh Mousa.A traditional 40 day memorial service will take place on Sunday February 28th for immediate family at St George Orthodox Cathedral.
