Placer County Sheriff's crime log: Attempted theft of casino property, John Deere tractor stolen

Feb. 14 Mark Jerome Butler, 48, of Somerset was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia in the Settlers Ridge Way and Fiddyment Road area of Roseville. Chad Anthony Tonso, 37, of Roseville was cited on suspicion of trespassing at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln. Feb. 15 Julia Taylor, a 49-year-old transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth for sale, transportation of meth for sale, possession of heroin for sale, transportation of heroin for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools. The arrest followed a traffic stop at Thunder Valley Casino. Monte Duane Higgins, 48, of Loomis was cited on suspicion of meth possession and meth pipe possession. The citation followed a traffic stop for expired registration in the Mammoth Drive and King Road area of Loomis. Andre Kusuma, 27, of Elk Grove was cited on suspicion of meth possession and pipe possession in the Highway 49 and Luther Road area of Auburn. Aaron Paul Freres, 39, of Sacramento was cited on suspicion of trespassing and petty theft at Thunder Valley Casino. The suspect reportedly trespassed in a gated area of the casino's water treatment plant and a wrench belonging to the casino was found in his bag. Feb. 16 A burglary was reported at Auburn Outboard Marine in the 3300 block of Boyington Road in Loomis. The safe and cash were the only items known to be stolen. A loss of $15,650 was reported. A burglary was reported at the Sacred Owl Tattoo Parlor in the 3100 block of Penryn Road in Penryn. One unknown individual attempted to break into the ATM inside the business while a second individual stood outside. Nothing was reported missing, but $1,400 in property damage occurred. Israel Sampson Huusfeldt, 29, of Citrus Heights and John Paul Huusfeldt, a 31-year-old Orangevale transient, were cited on suspicion of meth possession, heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools. The citations followed a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Blue Oaks Boulevard in Roseville. Matthew Kelly McGowen, a 34-year-old transient, was cited on suspicion of meth possession and meth pipe possession in the Kentucky Greens Way and Derby Court area of Newcastle. Jason Donn Flick, 34, of North Highlands was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in the Fiddyment Road and Athens Avenue area of Lincoln. A 67-year-old Roseville resident reported a theft in the 3600 block of Long Cove Court after multiple items of jewelry went missing between March and December 2020. Feb. 17 A 29-year-old Auburn resident reported a theft in the 3800 block of Creekside Place. His wallet containing $1,000 in cash was stolen from his vehicle. A suspected mail theft was reported in the N McAllen Drive area of Loomis after mailboxes were damaged. A 33-year-old Sacramento resident reported a theft at Thunder Valley Casino after her iPhone was stolen. Feb. 18 A 65-year-old Sacramento resident reported a burglary in the 2200 block of Vineyard Road in Roseville. A 2002 John Deere tractor with a front-end loader and flat mulling attachment on the back was stolen from a barn. A 48-year-old Sacramento resident reported a theft in the 2500 block of Bell Road in Auburn. The catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle. Jenell Cherylynn Bartholomew, 30, of Antelope, Raylyna Cynthia Salas, 28, of Rio Linda and Jeremy David Marchi, 25, of Laytonville were arrested on suspicion of possession of personal identifying information, possession of false identification, conspiracy and destruction of evidence. The arrest followed a resident observing the individuals stopping at various mailboxes in the McCourtney Road and Riosa Road area of Lincoln. A 56-year-old Penryn resident reported a burglary in the 7800 block of Callison Road. A generator, water tank and ring saw were stolen from her garage. A 52-year-old Foresthill resident reported being bilked out of $2,500 after an unknown individual alleging to be Mike Wilson with the Department of Social Investigation at Bank of America advised her ex-husband collected $700,000 and she needed to provide payment via gift cards to protect her Social Security number. Feb. 19 Shonte Laraedenee Tennessee, 29, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in the Highway 65 and Interstate 80 area of Roseville. Thomas Gene Seely, 50, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of possession of a vehicle with an altered VIN, meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Sunset Boulevard and South Loop Road area of Rocklin.
