Tri-City All-Stars win District 11

Both the Tri-City Little League Major and 11U All-Stars of Rocklin won the District 11 Championship last week. The Tri-City Major team was set to open the next level, Area 4 Tournament versus North Natomas on Thursday after press time. They will play Friday or Saturday, depending on the outcome. The Major squad includes Chase Dayog, Ashton Duran, Grant Estes, Parker Green, Ben Harner, Cody Lloyd, Ryan Lujan, Cooper Melton, Everett Thompson, Bryce Wall and Emmet Wardlaw. The coach is John Wardlaw. The 11U Tri-City squad swept Lincoln for the District 11 crown. They were set to face District 54 Champ Cosumnes on Thursday after press time at Airport Little League in South Sacramento. The locals will play Friday or Saturday, depending on the first-round outcome. The 11U squad includes Evan Dalao, Max Erwin, Mikey Heap, Jackson Hunt, Chase Ingram, Andrew Jimenez, Chase Jordan, Jerry Jumelet, Ryder McKeon, Brady Perez and Miles Tanberg. The manager is Jeremy Ingram. The Tri-City Junior All-Stars fell to Lincoln and Auburn in the District 11 Tourney. The roster includes Brody Bried, Jackson Dawson, Aidan Dimock, Aiden Drury, Isaiah Durham, Brock Felkins, Leland Howell, Connor Lloyd, Victor Needham, Gavin Pettler, Zachary Polete and Brady Quinn. The manager is Rick Dawson. The Tri-City 10U All-Stars beat Bear River but were eliminated by Auburn in the District 11 tourney. The team includes Caleb Basquial, Wyatt Bender, Noah Callison, Brady Fingado, Max Hanson, Mason Jordan, Peter Latu and Tyler Ramon, plus Dylan, Evan, Jordan and Kaiden Holaday.
