Placer County Sheriff's crime log: Car vandalized with fire extinguisher, porch theft, more

Aug. 3 A theft was reported at Placer County Water Agency in the 100 block of Ferguson Road in Auburn after a loss of $70,000 was reported. Aug. 17 A 32-year-old Sacramento resident reported vandalism at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln after an unknown individual threw a fire extinguisher at his windshield and broke a tequila bottle on his front passenger door, causing $200 in damage. The suspect was seen wearing all black and driving a white Ford Explorer. David Manzenko, 28, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer, meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a traffic stop at Thunder Valley Casino. A 38-year-old Applegate resident reported a burglary at Lake Theodore in the Applegate Road and Clipper Gap Road area after the front passenger window of her vehicle was broken and her purse was stolen. A loss of $150 was reported. Aug. 18 A 60-year-old Foresthill resident reported vandalism in the 5500 block of Mockingbird Court after an unknown individual entered her garage and damaged her vehicle. Aug. 19 A 74-year-old Colfax resident reported being bilked out of $1,880 after an unknown individual obtained a check from her checkbook and deposited it into an ATM. Aug. 21 A 36-year-old Roseville resident reported a theft in the 4600 block of Winona Court after two unknown individuals in a dark sedan stopped in front of his residence and a male in a baseball cap, hoodie and long pants took a package containing a kid's suitcase, worth $160, from his porch. Aug. 23 Johnathan Ray Mendez, 31, of West Sacramento was cited on suspicion of meth possession, meth pipe possession and having a false vehicle registration at Thunder Valley Casino. Joseph Henry Peterson, 53, of West Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful taking of a vehicle and meth possession in the 400 block of Big Ben Road in Lincoln. Jerrad David Colvin, 29, was cited on suspicion of heroin possession following a traffic stop at Thunder Valley Casino. A 50-year-old Riverbank resident reported a theft at Thunder Valley Casino after items worth $3,020 were stolen from the trunk of her vehicle. Aug. 24 Donald Farrimond-Shill, 37, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Thunder Valley Casino.
