G. Michael Inglett 1953 - 2021

Michael was born and raised in Roseville, CA. At the age of 16 Michael started working at Raley's on Harding Blvd in Roseville while attending Oakmont High School and bought his first condominium. Once Roseville Raley's closed, he transferred to the El Dorado Hills store, eventually retiring a 40 year career in 2004.At fifteen, Michael met the girl he would marry. He didn't have to go far as she lived across the street. In 1989 he moved to Loomis, CA. Michael loved Melody and he loved boats. As a teenager he would build his own boats, had a boat most of his life, finally getting his Hobie Compass Kayak. He enjoyed paddling the river with his girl of 47 years (plus 6 years of dating = 53 years).They had their favorite child, a son, for the last 35 years. Alex is a chip off the old boat deck, with the same sense of humor as his dad. Michael was proud of the kind hearted man Alex had become. Michael loved his niece, Jami, as if she was his own daughter. He adored his sister, Diane and lovingly tormented his sister-in-law, Frani.Michael was a teaser, a builder, sneaky, kind, a prankster, watchful, brilliant, an all-around handyman, would be there if you needed him and nobody laughed at his own jokes as much as he did. If you were ever fortunate enough to witness Michael laughing at his own jokes, you knew that was far funnier than any joke ever told. We are absolutely heartbroken because he's not here, but we are forever grateful for the time he was present. We'll keep a weather eye on the horizon, Michael. We love you.
