Folsom Rotary clubs team up to present "Bet on Rotary", a casino style fundraiser

The Folsom Lake Rotary and Historic Folsom Rotary Clubs are joining forces all for a good cause next month. On June 10, the two clubs will host Bet on Rotary 2022, a special event that welcomes guests to enjoy casino-style games, delicious foods and drinks and the opportunity to win raffle and auction prizes. The special evening will benefit three local nonprofit organizations, including Folsom's Hope, Hearts 4 Heroes USA and the Power House Ministries Holiday Gift Bag Program. Folsom's Hope serves the physical, educational, relational, material and spiritual needs of at-risk children and their families. Hearts 4 Heroes USA provides support and resources for first responders on the frontline with therapy dogs for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional support and wellness. Powerhouse Ministries-Senior Holiday Gift Bag Program provides a holiday gift bag to low-income seniors throughout the Folsom community. "This year promises to be our biggest event yet, with a larger audience and bigger and better prizes," noted Rotary Chair Dina Collins. "We hope you can join us in making the night a success as we strive to raise funds to support projects in our community." The upcoming event will feature a number of prizes donated by area businesses in various raffles and auctions throughout the night. Donations of prizes are still being sought for the event. Live and silent auction donors will be announced to the crowd throughout the night and during the live auction. The June 10 event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Empire Ranch Golf Club.
