Folsom Pro Rodeo already a complete sell out

The Folsom Pro Rodeo has been entertaining spectators from Folsom and afar in the popular Dan Russell Arena for six decades and this week, it takes the first step towards its seventh. That's right, it's rodeo time in Folsom this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 61st annual event that has officially sold out as of Thursday morning. Presented by the Folsom Chamber of Commerce, the Folsom Pro Rodeo is known to offer non-stop action to thrill all ages – from patriotic tributes to bucking bulls and mutton busting – all of which is capped off with fireworks each night to celebrate the arrival of Independence Day in a fashion that is second to none. While the event normally sells out each year during it's three-day run, this is the earliest it has sold out for all three days, an entire day before the gates even open, according the the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. From the time the gates open each night, this event is a celebration of America as fans will struggle to stay dry-eyed with patriotic fanfare in celebration of Independence Day. The patriotism continues from beginning to end, right down to the colorful fireworks that will light up the sky. The Flying Cowboys, motocross experts, will test the arena's limit by flying as high as possible with flips and turns. Traditional rodeo events that will churn up the small but action-packed arena include bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing and don't forget those zany rodeo clowns that bring laughs to the whole family. Five-and 6-year-old cowboys and cowgirls will do their best to cling on wooly sheep in the mutton-busting competition. When it comes to viewing the Folsom Pro Rodeo at Dan Russell Arena, there isn't a bad seat in the house as fans are up close to the action. Each night, the gates open at Dan Russell Arena in plenty of time for fans to find their seats and enjoy the many types of food and beverages before all the fanfare begins. Just as the fireworks conclude each night, the party continues as the Saloon Under the Stars will heat up with dance music nightly. Admittance to the saloon is free for rodeo fans.
