This is how Del Oro dances

Over 100 Del Oro High School dancers will strut their stuff when Del Oro Dance presents "This is How we DO it!" next weekend. Performances are at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the school's Performing Arts Theater.The family friendly show will include music for every age, according to teacher Dawn Kenniston.She said tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, swing and salsa dance will be featured in the upbeat, fast-paced dance performance."Many dances are student choreographed, bringing a sense of pride to the dancers who get to see their creation come alive on stage," Kenniston said.General admission tickets are $5 and are available in the school's front office.All proceeds from the matinee go to fund a scholarship pot to be split by senior dance students who have gone above and beyond in their dance education and earned membership in the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.— Staff Report
