Barktoberfest to Halloween events happen every fall in Rocklin

Rocklin is full of family-friendly events for community members of all ages to enjoy this fall season. Movies in the Park will happen Oct. 14 at 7 pm. Bring a blanket and chairs to enjoy a movie under the stars at Kathy Lund Park. Admission is free and food trucks will be available for cash or debit purchase before the showing. Park Pulse on Oct. 6 and Oct. 12 at Johnson-Springview Park from 5 to 8 p.m. will include interactive games, food trucks, and entertainment from local musicians. The park also has a new splash pad and freshly renovated picnic pavilions. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. The park is at 5480 5th. St., Rocklin. Barktoberfest, hosted by Johnson-Springview Park and Placer SPCA, will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 22. This event will focus on your friendly four-legged family members and include contests, games, dog-friendly vendors, a biergarten for the adults, canine contests and live music. Admission is free. Biergarten tickets can be bought at placerspca.org/events/barktoberfest. ST Productions presents live music at Quarry Park Amphitheatre, 4000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin. Plain White T's will perform at 6 pm. Friday. Invincible and Canadian Red will host Rocking the Quarry, at 6 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are at stproductions.events. Quarry Park Adventures will host its annual Harvest Festival Family Weekend from Oct. 14 to Oct. 16 and Trunk or Treat on Oct. 29. Both free annual family events run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and entry is free. A free farmers market will happen at Johnson-Springview Park Sept. 30, Oct. 28, and Nov. 23. from 8 to 10 a.m., rain or shine. Drive-through services will be available.
