We are so pleased to support Placer County Transportation Planning Agency (PCTPA) in its development of the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). This is an important endeavor that helps our county set the right priorities as we plan and imagine for the future of our region's transportation system. The heart of Placer County is, of course, its people, so we turn to you as we develop this plan. Starting Nov 1, Placer County Transportation Planning Agency is launching an online survey to assess your current priorities and to share your vision for the future of our region's multi-modal transportation network. In addition to the survey, Placer County Transportation Planning Agency is hosting three workshop opportunities (combination of two virtual and one in-person workshops) in early December to gather more input. You can also find Placer County Transportation Planning Agency staff out and about at various community events and meetings these next couple of months. The 2050 Regional Transportation Plan planning process provides us with an opportunity to proactively balance our transportation investment decisions to accommodate well- planned future growth while preserving the unique quality of life that makes Placer County special. As your county supervisors, we value being active in the community and making common-sense decisions that best represent your interests and those of future Placer County generations. Your voice in the Regional Transportation Plan planning process will impact how we invest in our roads, highways and transit systems, maintain our existing infrastructure and more. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and let your voice be heard. The survey will remain active until Dec. 16, 2022 and is available in English and Spanish.
