Betty Vail

Betty J. Vail passed away to be home with the Lord on February 5, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Betty was born in Iowa and moved to Northern California after she married her first husband, Bill Barr. Together they welcomed a daughter, Colleen. During her second marriage to Donald (Dick) Jones, the couple welcomed two sons together, Timothy and Christian. Her third and final marriage of 49 years was to the love of her life, Bob Vail. Through this marriage she gained another son, Stan, which completed her family of six. During her many happy years together with Bob they both deeply enjoyed being active members of their church, Capital Christian Center, in Sacramento. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland and Pearl Fletcher, her sister, Diane Bowers, her daughter, Colleen Foreman, her beloved husband Bob Vail, and many friends. Betty Vail is survived by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
