Albert Joseph LaShell 7/3/1946 - 5/4/2023

Albert Joseph LaShell, born July 3, 1946, passed away on May 4, 2023 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. An Auburn native and longtime resident with deep family ties to the foothills, Albert remarried and later moved to Tobaccoville, North Carolina in 2022. He was renowned for his skill as a Bowen therapist and evangelist; aiding and healing those in pain and teaching others to do the same. Albert was a man of strong faith, a remarkable teacher, an excellent mechanic, a player of numerous stringed instruments, a skilled leather and wood craftsman, a keen historian, a collector of all things collectible, and a captivating storyteller. He will be missed by all who knew him. Albert is survived by sister Christine Cannarozzi, wife Bethanne LaShell, children Elaine, Jeff, Emilie, and Erin, and stepchildren Karissa, Nathaniel, and Kira. Albert leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A pot luck picnic celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24th at Ashford Park in Auburn.
