Police investigating theft in Blossom Lane garage

On Tuesday, at approximately 11:05 p.m., the Lincoln Police Department responded to the 600 block of Blossom Lane for a report of a theft at a residence. The 92-year-old victim pulled into her garage and as she exited her vehicle, an unknown male suspect entered the garage, according to Lincoln Police. Without saying anything to the victim, the suspect opened the front passenger door of the vehicle, grabbed the victim's purse and a grocery bag from the front passenger seat and fled on foot, Lincoln Police said. The suspect was described as a male, 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 5'06"-5'08", wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt. The male suspect was last observed running northbound on Dogwood Loop. A search was conducted for the suspect but he was not located. Detectives have been assigned to this case and it is currently under investigation.
