Auburn State Theatre Acting Company presents Season 6 of Golden Age Radio

Season 6 of the State Theatre Acting Company's Golden Age Radio premieres at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 15, on stage at the First Congregational Church, 710 Auburn Ravine Road in Auburn. Season 6 of Golden Age Radio continues with performances of three classic episodes, plus special musical interludes. All shows are complete with live Foley sound effects (a unique technique that involves creating and "performing" everyday sounds for radio). The July 15 lineup is: · Richard Diamond: Lonely Hearts Date. A Maine lobsterman hires a PI to get his money back after being scammed. · Lizzie Borden: When a newspaper reporter presses Lizzie and her sister for the truth, will more violence erupt? · Our Miss Brooks: Valentine's Day. Will the clueless Mr. Boynton actually take Connie on a romantic date or is it another trip to the zoo? Bring your refreshments, chairs, and enjoy. The venue will be inside at Overmiller Hall at the church due to extreme heat predictions. This event is free to all and donations are graciously accepted. Mark your calendars, the final Golden Age Radio show in this series is Aug. 19.
