Roseville man arrested in stabbing of 2

One suspect is in custody for the alleged stabbing of two people Tuesday night in Roseville, according to the Roseville Police Department. Jarael Sexton, 30, was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder, force without a firearm and obstruction of a public officer. He is currently ineligible for bail, according to the 24-hour booking report. Police were flagged down at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday near Church and Grant streets for reports of two stabbings after an argument. They found the first victim to be stabbed with a knife. Police later found a second victim who was stabbed in the eye with a stick. Both victims were transported to a hospital and were in stable condition, according to police. After witnessing Sexton's attempt to flee the scene, he was detained by police, according to a press release. Sexton was transported to a hospital for "minor injuries" before being booked into Placer County Jail, according to a press release.
