Auburn incident report: Carjacking, possession of drugs for sale, 5 DUI arrests

Sept. 10 Jose Manuel Pancan-Melgar, 24, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on westbound Interstate 80 at Highway 193. Gregory Duane Brazier Sr., 54, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. on suspicion of violation of a felony parole on the 100 block of Harrison Avenue. Michael Anthony Hernandez, 22, was arrested at 2:34 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on Grass Valley Highway at Edgewood Road. John Stevens Kinsman, 35, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit and driving with a license suspended for a previous DUI on Grass Valley Highway at Hulbert Way. Sept. 9 Marshall Tucker Moranville, 25, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. on suspicion of carjacking and domestic abuse on the 300 block of Grass Valley Highway. Sept. 6 Scott Franklin Reiswig, 41, was arrested at 11:37 p.m. on suspicion of possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia on the 1100 block of Lincoln Way. Mark Jerome Butler, 50, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and for an outstanding felony warrant on the 1700 block of Auburn Ravine Road. Sept. 5 Miranda Watson, 39, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on suspicion of receiving known stolen property on the 100 block of Grass Valley Highway. Sept. 4 Keasia Marie Calhoun, 27, was arrested at 5 p.m. on suspicion of child abuse on the 400 block of Grass Valley Highway. Ulysses Fontez Washington II, 24, was arrested at 5 p.m. on suspicion of child abuse on the 400 block of Grass Valley Highway. Sept. 3 James Daniel Moos, 54, was arrested at 10:31 p.m. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit a crime, resisting a peace officer and driving with a suspended motorcycle registration on the 300 block of Grass Valley Highway. Sept. 2 Brandon John Manahan, 41, was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on Grass Valley Highway at Luther Road. Joshua Keith Sutton, 33, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. on suspicion of resisting a police officer on the 13100 block of Lincoln Way. Aug. 29 Daniel Joseph Hubanks, 42, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. on suspicion of domestic abuse on the 1000 block of Red Hawk Lane. Aug. 28 Shawn Hillard Minyard, 66, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on the 1400 block of Grass Valley Highway. Rex Franklin Gwartney, 49, was arrested at 11:55 a.m. on suspicion of resisting a peace officer, damaging power lines and possession of unlawful paraphernalia on the 200 block of Palm Avenue. In addition to the above arrests, the Auburn Police Department posted a summary of incidents from the month of August, including: ·&emsp;1,080 calls initiated by officers, either by dispatch or while working. ·&emsp;16 traffic collisions. ·&emsp;128 crime reports (generated by officers and staff documenting a crime, missing persons or other significant events). ·&emsp;814 calls for service (911 line and non-emergency line).
