'Taste of the Tour' reception offers preview of annual Placer Artists Tour

The annual Placer Artists Tour is the largest studio tour in the foothills region, featuring a diversity of art, artist demonstrations, music performances and interactive art activities. The Placer Artists Tour preview show "Taste of the Tour" will be held at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, the most prominent visual arts gallery in Placer County. The show is on exhibit through Nov. 19, with the "Taste of the Tour" reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. Small bites, wine and beer are provided by Placer Artists Tour sponsors, and an Auburn Symphony duo will perform from 5 to 6:30. These events are an excellent opportunity to view the work of all participating artists and pick up the Arts Directory & Tour Guide, which is also available at participating galleries and art schools and many other locations throughout the region. Celebrating 30 years in 2023, the Placer Artists Tour is free to attend and takes place on two November weekends in artist studios, art galleries and art schools in 85 locations throughout Placer County. All locations will participate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
