Rocklin Police seek suspects after Thursday afternoon stabbing

A man is in a hospital with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing incident in Rocklin on Feb. 1. The Rocklin Police Department is seeking the public's help in details surrounding the event. According to a Rocklin Police Department press release, at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 1, the Rocklin Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 1100 block of Whitney Ranch Parkway. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who suffered a stab wound to his chest. An investigation revealed the suspects involved in the incident were known to the victim, and the stabbing occurred following a verbal altercation. Officers administered first aid to the victim until medics arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
