Rocklin inspection center aids same-day delivery growth

Carvana has expanded its services to its local communities by offering same-day car delivery to the greater Sacramento area, according to a press release. Carvana is an online used-car storefront with services including car pickup and delivery services. Not only can people search for and purchase specific cars, they can also sell used vehicles on the website. "This expansion is a testament to our commitment to providing Sacramento-area residents efficient, customer-centric solutions that meet the evolving needs of car buyers," Carvana Senior Director of Market Operations Jacqueline Hearns said in the press release. "Now local customers can experience the best of both worlds: the wide selection of inventory and ease of same-day delivery right to their doorstep." According to the press release, select Sacramento-area residents can get a vehicle delivered "within hours" of ordering and use same-day drop-off for selling vehicles thanks to Carvana's Inspection and Reconditioning Center in Rocklin. Each vehicle goes through a 150-point inspection at local centers before it is listed for sale on the website. The Rocklin center has more than 50 positions available, including technicians of varying skill levels. However, Carvana has begun expanding this service to other states, including Texas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Ohio and Oklahoma, with plans to continue expanding.
