Auburn arrest report: Possession of an unserialized firearm, kidnapping, evading an officer arrests

Sept. 8 Jacob Paul Ray Garza, 39, was arrested at 4:02 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and causing bodily injury, driving while license was suspended for a prior DUI, driving with an unlawful blood-alcohol level while on probation for a DUI and driving with an open container in the vehicle on the 200 block of Washington Street. Sept. 6 Christine Denise Wilson, 61, was arrested at 7:18 a.m. on suspicion of vehicle theft and embezzlement of more than $950 on the 300 block of Nevada Street. Jose Maria Rodriguez, 23, was arrested at 5:33 a.m. on suspicion of possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance on the 700 block of Deerbrooke Trail. Sept. 3 Angela Banach, 42, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on suspicion of evading a police officer and driving without a license on the 11200 block of Humbug Way. Sept. 2 Craig Steven Rogers, 64, was arrested at 6 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and for driving without a license on Nevada Street at Redhawk Lane. Sept. 1 At 2:31 p.m., Auburn officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Mercedes-Benz for a vehicle code violation in the area of Highway 49 and Edgewood Road. During the investigation, officers uncovered an unserialized firearm, commonly known as a ghost gun, along with a 30-round magazine accessible to the driver and passenger. The driver, Kaylen Reid of Sacramento, was arrested for multiple charges, including 29800(a)(1) PC (felon in possession of a firearm), 29180(c) PC (possession of an unserialized firearm), 30305(a)(1) PC (possession of ammunition by a prohibited person), and 12500(a) CVC (driving without a valid license). Reid was booked into the Placer County Jail without incident. Aug. 31 Eric Burdette Rogers, 42, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on suspicion of kidnapping, domestic violence, threatening a crime with intent to terrorize and dissuading a victim/witness on Interstate 80 E at Antelope Road. Aug. 30 Shawn Alan Nolan Jr., 34, was arrested at 6:33 a.m. on suspicion of vehicle theft on Auburn Ravine Road at Bowman Road. Jesse Michael McCauley, 33, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. on suspicion of being a fugitive from justice on the 100 block of Grass Valley Highway. Aug. 27 Peter Aaron Rice, 20, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. on suspicion of contacting a minor for sex and sending/selling obscene matter on the 100 block of Skyridge Drive. Aug. 26 Robert Aaron Wilder, 51, was arrested at 9:56 p.m. on suspicion of failing to register a change of address as a sex offender and for being a transient failing to register when released from custody on Nevada Street at Park Street. In addition to the above arrests, the Auburn Police Department posted a summary of incidents from the month of August, including: ·&emsp;1,165 calls initiated by officers, either by dispatch or while working. ·&emsp;5 traffic collisions. ·&emsp;133 crime reports (generated by officers and staff documenting a crime, missing persons or other significant events). ·&emsp;821 calls for service (911 and non-emergency lines).
