Circus Vargas brings family entertainment to Roseville, Folsom

Circus Vargas will present its traveling show in Roseville and Folsom this fall, offering two-hour family entertainment featuring acrobatic performances, comedy and music. The circus runs Aug. 29-Sept. 21 at 1151 Galleria Blvd. in Roseville, then moves to 745 Oak Ave. Parkway in Folsom from Sept. 25-Oct. 6. Tickets range from $25 to $85, with children under 2 admitted free. Senior and military discounts are available, and VIP packages are offered. Food and beverages will be sold on site. The show features athletic performers in various acts, including acrobatics and comedy routines. I took my four kids to last year's performance, and they still ask when the circus will come back to the parking lot by Lakeside Church. It's difficult to pick a favorite act because all the performers are exceptional athletes - even the clown! The circus combines traditional slapstick humor with athletic demonstrations and musical elements throughout the two-hour program.
