ARD's 6th annual Santa's Toy Chest returns Saturday

Auburn Area Recreation and Parks District's (ARD) Santa's Toy Chest returns Saturday. The sixth annual scavenger hunt kicks off at 10 a.m. According to ARD, this year's hunt will feature 100 keys and three chests. Three of the keys will open one of Santa's three toy chests, which will contain gifts and gift cards from Auburn businesses. Kahl Muscott, district administrator for ARD, shared, "This is a wonderful event to take the kids and grandkids to – they will be out in the park, hunting for keys, enjoying the holiday spirit and hoping to find a key that opens one of Santa's Chests, full of toys and gift cards!" ARD confirmed each child who finds a key that does not open Santa's chest will receive a stuffed animal prize. Winning Santa's chest is also limited to one per family. According to the ARD website, free hot chocolate will also be available.
