City of Auburn hosts community town hall: 'How do we spend our dollar?'

The City of Auburn Economic Development Commission invites residents, business owners and community leaders to a dynamic Town Hall: "How Do We Spend Our Dollar?" on Monday, Feb. 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Auburn City Hall Council Chambers. This community conversation will explore how we spend our dollars, why local spending and taxes matter, and how collective support can strengthen our city's economic and cultural vitality. More than a discussion about shopping local, this event is about building a community that supports one another – a thriving Auburn where businesses, arts and people flourish together. The evening will begin with a community welcome led by Mayor Kelley Davis, setting the stage for an open and engaging dialogue about Auburn's economic impact. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Economic Development Commission Chair J. Ross Parrelli and will feature City Manager Sean Rabé, Downtown Business Association President Dallas Drake, Old Town Business Association President Kat Eich and Chamber of Commerce President Manouch Shirvanioun. This panel will discuss how local spending supports essential services, bolsters small businesses and enhances Auburn's unique quality of life. Community participation is at the heart of this event.
