The entertainment center at 511 E. Bidwell Street has completed a comprehensive renovation, featuring state-of-the-art bowling equipment, an expanded arcade with new games, updated scoring systems and a redesigned seating area that aims to create a home-like atmosphere for guests. "It's actually refreshing not to have Wi-Fi," said a parent who visited Saturday for their son's soccer party. "The kids actually talked to each other and played together instead of being on their phones." The venue has positioned itself as a destination for birthday parties, corporate events and team-building activities. Management reports that the remodel has attracted longtime customers and new families looking for interactive entertainment options. Lane rates vary by day and reservation type. Monday through Thursday, walk-in rates start at $37 per lane, while Friday through Sunday rates begin at $43 per lane. Reservations add $2 per lane to avoid waiting in line. The center's winter special, running Monday through Thursday, offers groups of up to six people one hour of bowling, shoe rentals, choice of food platter, a pitcher of soda and arcade credits for $85. The promotion excludes holidays and cannot be combined with other offers.
