Blood drive to be held in Folsom Palladio

In an ongoing effort to collect much-needed blood donations in the community, Vitalant is hosting a community blood drive next week. Vitalant says there is a critical need for blood and is urging those who are able, to donate blood. The community blood drive will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Palladio at Broadstone from noon until 3:30 pm. Donors who take part will receive one in-hand coupon for a large popcorn at Palladio 16 Cinema. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment at donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code SMFM895 or call Vitalant at 877-258-4825. Walk-ins will be accommodated if space allows. Donors must weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in good health and bring a photo ID. 16-year-olds must have a signed Vitalant parent consent form available online at vitalant.org.
