Lincoln High joins Sun City Seniors for 'Shake It Up' dance extravaganza

Think dance is just for the young? Think again! Join the Sun City Senior Superstars for a spectacular show, "Shake It Up," a high-energy dance showcase celebrating talent, resilience, vitality and the can-do spirit of the senior dance community. Dates are March 27, 28 and 29 at the Orchard Creek Ballroom in Lincoln. "Shake It Up" is more than a call to dance – it's a call to embrace change, to step boldly into new experiences and inspire others through perseverance and hope. From lively group numbers to heartfelt solo performances, these dancers prove passion and creativity don't fade with time – in fact, they shine brighter. Expect dazzling costumes, vibrant choreography, infectious music and pure joy. "Shake It Up" proves dance is a bridge that connects generations. The dynamic Lincoln High School Dance Team, under the guidance of Carrie Pereira, is set to dazzle the crowd with their electrifying hip-hop number. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Lincoln High School Performing Arts Program.
