Man arrested following series of break-ins in multiple cities

A man was arrested Wednesday following a series of early morning break-ins in multiple cities. Placer County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported break-in at Max's Deli and Third Eye Tattoo around 3 a.m. in North Auburn. The Sheriff's Office confirmed the suspects had already left when deputies arrived. The investigation revealed three masked suspects used a white BMW SUV that was connected to burglaries in Rocklin and Grass Valley earlier the same morning. The Sheriff's Office and Rocklin Police Department tracked the suspect vehicle to Sacramento, the department confirmed. With assistance from the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle was stopped near 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and the two individuals in the vehicle were arrested. The Sheriff's Office confirmed the female suspect was arrested by the Sacramento Sheriff's Office for charges in its jurisdiction. Elijah Felix, 25, of Sacramento, was arrested by the Placer Sheriff's Office and charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, a Yuba County warrant for burglary and violation of post-release community supervision. Felix remains in custody with no bail set. The Sheriff's Office confirmed the remaining suspects are still at large and investigators continue to search for them.
