American Legion Post 84 is rolling out the cards once again at the Auburn Veterans Hall, 100 East St. Doors swing open at 5:30 p.m., and games start at 6. There is seating for up to 75. 'LIFTED' takes look at human trafficking Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theatre presents LIFTED, a powerful production confronting the realities of human trafficking from localand global perspectives, with showings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at The Sofia Theatre in Sacramento. Through compelling choreography, directed by Jacob Guiteirrez-Montoya, the performance illuminates not only the darkness of this issue but also the vital work of community organizations dedicated to prevention, advocacy and survivor support. Recommended for ages 13 and up, LIFTED aims to spark meaningful conversation and inspire awareness and action. Indie-pop/folk singer coming to Auburn Auburn City Limits has announced Lera Lynn will perform with her band Sunday, Feb. 22, at the General Gomez Art & Event Center in Auburn. Lynn, who specializes in indie-pop/folk music, will be joined on her Ruin Me Tour by special guest Peter Bradley Adams. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30.
