Leitze, Ann Mills (Tjornhom) of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on February 7, 2026 at age 94 surrounded by loved ones. A celebration of life will be held later this spring in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ann was born December 7, 1931, and grew up in Winnebago, Minnesota. Raised on discussion of the news of the day, teaching and conversation became her passion. She met her former husband Chic Tjornhom at Macalester College from where she graduated in 1953. After a career in teaching and counseling in St. Paul, she retired to Sun City in Lincoln, California, and later to Auburn, where she was active in Bethlehem Lutheran Church. &emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp; She is preceded in death by her parents Katherine and John Mills, and sister Mary Ondov, She is survived by her children Rebecca Tjornhom, Randall Tjornhom (Melanie), Julia Velasquez (Roger), and Paul Tjornhom (Karin), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
