John Edward Bostick 1/02/1978 - 2/12/2026

John Edward Bostick, a lifelong resident of Lincoln, California, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2026, in Roseville, California. He was 48 years old. John was born on January 2, 1978, in Sacramento, California to Warren and Teresa Bostick. He graduated from Lincoln High School before earning his forestry degree from California State University, Humboldt in 2001. John dedicated his professional life to the environmental industry, working for Blaine Tech, GHD, JJ&A, and ultimately achieving his dream position with Pacific Gas and Electric Company in September 2023. On June 5, 2010, John married the love of his life, Sara Giorgi. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. In 2016, John and Sara moved to a 10-acre farm to raise their sons much like John himself had been raised. He took great pride in teaching Luke and Beau how to work the land, raise pigs and chickens, and repair everything from tractors to cars. &emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp; For 20 years, John selflessly served his community as a volunteer firefighter alongside his father, Warren — a bond of service and dedication that meant the world to him. John was an avid bowler and found his greatest joy outdoors — hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He lived by faith with strength, generosity, and a deep love for those closest to him. There wasn't a place John could go where he wouldn't run into a friend from high school, college or work. It didn't matter how many years, he was always able to pick up right where they left off. John is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Sara; his sons, Luke (11) and Beau (8); his mother, Teresa; his siblings, Bradley (Andrea), Michael (Melissa), and Lynsey (Sean); his Aunt Sharon; his Uncle Bruce (Kathy); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren. Services will be held at McBean Pavilion in Lincoln, California, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. John's legacy of service, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the lives he touched and in the land he loved.
