El Dorado Hills Town Center Hosts weekly car meet for foothill enthusiasts

Car enthusiasts in the foothill communities have a new reason to set the alarm early. Cars and Coffee at El Dorado Hills Town Center is every Saturday from 7 to 9 a.m. in the parking lot near Regal Cinemas, accessible via White Rock Road to Vine Street. The weekly gathering draws collectors, builders and casual fans alike from Folsom, El Dorado Hills and surrounding areas for a relaxed, family-friendly morning of automobiles and community. The lineup spans the full spectrum of automotive culture — classic iron, exotic machinery, modern performance builds and everything in between. Fresh coffee and pastries from Mimosa House keep the fuel flowing for early risers, making it an easy sell for parents looking for a reason to get the kids out of bed on a weekend morning. "Roll in low and slow," organizers ask of attendees, encouraging drivers to keep noise levels down out of respect for neighboring residents. The event welcomes car photographers, who are encouraged to tag @edhtowncenter and @carsandcoffeefolsomedh on social media for a chance to be featured. Dogs are also welcome, adding to the laid-back, community-first atmosphere. Cars and Coffee Folsom EDH is presented in partnership with Marvelous Tint Solutions and additional local sponsors.
