Loomis Basin Brewery launches Bands and Brews spring and summer concert series

Music lovers in the Foothill region have a new Friday night destination. Loomis Basin Brewery kicks off its Bands and Brews Spring and Summer Concert Series on March 6, bringing live local acts, wood-fired pizza and cold craft beer together every Friday evening at 3277 Swetzer Road. Live music runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with the kitchen firing up pies starting at 4 p.m. The event is open to guests 21 and older. The lineup runs through June and spans nearly every genre a music fan could want. March opens with country and rock act Shane Q before moving through acoustic grunge duo Malarkey, Americana outfit Manzanita and classic rock collective Acoustic Underground. April and May bring blues, reggae, funk, R&B and 50s-through-2000s cover acts to the stage, while June closes the series with names like Wayward Buffalo, Island of Black and White Trio and Frankie and the Local Tones.
