Jimmy loved documenting life through photography & had a deep appreciation for history, was an avid coin collector who enjoyed treasure hunting and gold panning throughout the Sierras. He loved riding motorcycles, playing harmonica, and spending time with family and friends. If you knew him, he had you. Survived by his family Cheryl - the woman he called his wife, his daughter Lexanna who he was deeply proud to call his, and his daughter Della, who he loved reconnecting with, and siblings Marvin & Lloyd Starks, Debra Kirks, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Leon & Judy Ila Starks, siblings Larry Martin, Ronnie Atkins, Sharon Carlile, Clinton & Elzie Starks. A Celebration of Life will be held at Gold Country Fairgrounds, Sierra Building, Sunday, March 22, 2026, 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
