Grand opening announced for Nevada County Democratic headquarters

The Nevada County Democratic Central Committee announced the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new headquarters in Grass Valley, marking a new chapter in community engagement, voter outreach and local organizing. The new office, located at 1200 E. Main Street, Suite C, will officially open its doors to the public with a celebratory event April 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Community members, supporters and families are invited to attend this free event featuring live music, food trucks, games, children's activities and special guest speakers. The new headquarters is already serving as a central hub for Democratic organizing in Nevada County – volunteer sign-ups, voter education, candidate engagement and grassroots activism. County Democratic committees, all volunteers, play a vital role in registering voters, engaging communities and supporting candidates at all levels of government. "This new space represents our commitment to building a stronger, more connected community," said Steve Hurley, NCDCC chair. "It will be a place where people can come together, get involved and take action on the issues that matter most to Nevada County."
