Placer SPCA hosts 'Woof, Wine and Dine' fundraiser

Placer SPCA announces the return of its annual Woof, Wine and Dine event Thursday, May 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Vernon Street Town Square. VIP guests will enjoy early access beginning at 6 p.m. Founded in 1973, Placer SPCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of companion animals and supporting the human-animal bond. Exclusively for adults 21 and over, Woof, Wine and Dine offers a unique, dog-friendly experience where guests can sip, savor and stroll alongside their well-behaved, leashed canine companions. Attendees will enjoy samples from local restaurants, wineries and breweries, along with pet vendors, entertainment and special activities. Early bird tickets are available, with general admission priced at $40 and VIP tickets at $50. Prices will increase May 1. Proceeds from the event directly support Placer SPCA's mission to provide shelter, medical care and lifesaving services for companion animals in Placer County. Community members and businesses are encouraged to get involved. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels. Interested sponsors are asked to submit completed forms and payment by May 11 to take full advantage of promotional benefits. Placer SPCA is also seeking participation from food and beverage as well as dog-friendly purveyors.
