Rocklin Police 2025 Annual Report highlights

Rocklin Police will be highlighting excerpts from their 2025 Annual Report each week. Week 2 of the annual report highlight focus is patrol. "Under the leadership of the Operations Captain, patrol includes 28 officers, five corporals, five sergeants, and two lieutenants. This unit is organized into six patrol teams, providing seamless, around-the-clock coverage," police commented in a press release. Law enforcement calls for service increased 1 percent to 27,737 calls, officer-initiated activity increased 3 percent to 22,177 calls, for a total of 49,914 calls for the year, according to the highlight report. "Response times improved for higher-priority calls, with Priority 1 decreasing by 3 seconds and Priority 2 decreasing by 23 seconds compared to last year. Priority 3 response times saw a slight increase over the same period," police commented. As the department's largest unit, the Patrol Division serves as the primary gateway to city services and the front line of their mission: to serve, protect and promote a safe community delivering responsive, high-quality service to those who live, work and visit Rocklin.
