Zeus, Lincoln's escaping zebra, needs a new home

Calling all zebras. Actually, we're calling only one zebra, and that's the one who has, several times now, escaped its pen just north of Lincoln and has been roaming the Wise Road area in search of ... who knows? Zebras and Lincoln, they just naturally go together, given the zebra is the official mascot of Lincoln High School. The name goes back more than a century, to a choice of uniform colors and a recognition that the team needed an aggressive call sign. Voila! Fighting Zebras! Today, our Zebra team(s) do the city proud. But now, how do we incorporate our newest addition, Zeus, into our community family? Zeus was purchased (legally) as a stud animal by a local rancher but, after three escapes, he needs a new home with proper fencing. So far, Zeus has received more than 100,000 Placer County Animal Control social media visits. He's very happy but lonely. The "Friends of Zeus" are looking at some permanent options for him.
