Treehouse Players brings beloved Elephant and Piggie to the stage in Roseville this May

Treehouse Players is bringing Mo Willems' beloved children's book characters Gerald the elephant and Piggie the pig to life on stage this May with a musical production of Elephant and Piggie's "We Are in a Play!" The show follows best friends Gerald and Piggie as they head to a party hosted by the Squirrelles — three singing squirrels who love a good time — in a fun, energetic adventure perfectly sized for young audiences. Directed and choreographed by Jerald Bolden with musical direction by Jennifer Vaughn, the production promises plenty of laughs, catchy music and more than a few moments that will have kids dancing in their seats. Performances are scheduled for Saturday, May 2, Sunday, May 3, Saturday, May 9, and Saturday, May 16, all at 2 p.m. at 241 Vernon St. in Roseville. The May 3 performance will be ASL interpreted, making it accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members.
