Folsom PD arrest suspected drug dealer

Folsom Police officers arrested an accused drug dealer after receiving several tips that the suspect was selling drugs out of his home garage; after investigating, police concluded the reports were true. Officers responded to the 100 block of Bayline Circle on Wednesday, April 15, just before 3:30 a.m. after receiving the reports about suspected drug dealings in the home. Once police arrived, they talked with a man at the home who they had already confirmed was on probation. Officers asked the suspect to secure his dogs due to their aggressive behavior. During this time, an officer observed the suspect remove an item from a bag in the garage and place it into a nearby trash can. Police said they then did a probation search of the garage where they found and seized about six ounces of suspected psychedelic mushrooms, 23 suspected ecstasy capsules and paraphernalia commonly associated with the sale of illegal narcotics. Joshua Olson, 26, of Folsom was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail on felony charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sale and related offenses.
